Gretchen was a most serendipitous addition to my family. Although
I had been perfectly content with my two black cats (I always choose black cats), she turned up as a stray in my parents' back yard one night, a tiny little kitten, about 4 lbs. I took her home with the intent of surrendering her to the shelter the next morning... but, overnight she stole my heart.
